Statutory Instrument - SI 2009 No.2257 (Highways, England) from 6th April 2010
As you may be aware, the above SI was passed in August 2009 and will have changes that may affect you.
As from 6th April 2010, candidates who have been assessed in only the single units '002 - Signing, Lighting and Guarding' and/or '010 - Monitoring Signing, Lighting and Guarding' can apply to have their qualification registered with SWQR. Existing candidates that have previously gained the two single units can apply to have their unit registered with us for the first time using the new SWQR4 Form below. This Form would be submitted to us with the appropriate fee, photograph and must include photocopies of the candidates' original Awarding Body certificates detailing the unit 002/010.
This is a voluntary process from 6th April 2010. From 6th April 2011 no historic certificates shall be valid. Those candidates that fail to do so will have to be assessed in the original unit before they can have it registered with us i.e. the candidate will have to sit the unit again.
The schedule of charges is as follows:
| Initial Registration of a new candidate for an I/D card |
£21.50
|
| Additional qualification added to an existing candidate |
£17.25
