Following changes to the English Statutory Instrument 2257, from 06 April 2011 any request for re-registration, for an individual working within the English legislative area, must be accompanied by the relevant re-assessed qualification certificate issued by an approved awarding body. Please see the ‘Training Courses’ section of our website for contact details of the awarding bodies.
An application to register re-assessed qualifications must be received by SWQR no earlier than six months prior to and no later than six months after the expiry of the previous registration, this is the date displayed on the front of your Street Works card.
A new ID card issued will be issued and the expiry date of the card will be five years from the previous expiry date.
Note: If an individual fails to register their re-assessed qualifications in the six months after their current expiry date, their registration will expire and they will be required to retake the full units.
