Registration is for a period of five years after which supervisors/operatives will be required to re-register with the SWQR within 6 months of the expiry date of the existing registration. Each supervisor/operative must complete a ‘Candidate Re-registration Form (SWQR2)’ and return to the Street Works Qualifications Register along with their current ID card, one passport size photograph and the appropriate fee. Late re-registrations received after the 6 month period can still apply using the standard form (SWQR2) but the re-registration fee will be charged at a higher rate. Please note that the new expiry date on the ID card will be five years from the original expiry date.
No further training or assessment is required at present. However, there may be re-assessment brought in at a later date. Please check the website for updates.
In the event of an ID card being lost or stolen, the Street Works Qualifications Register should be notified immediately. The candidate will then be issued with a ‘Candidate Replacement Form (SWQR3)’. The candidate will complete this form and return it to the Street Works Qualifications Register along with one passport-sized photograph and the appropriate fee.
