No further training or assessment is required at present for the re-registration process. However, new legislation has been passed in England that sees the introduction of re-assessment in April 2011. This will mean that candidates will have to be re-assessed before their I/D card can be renewed. We are working closely with the Department for Transport (DfT) and the Awarding Bodies regarding re-assessment and will post updates on the website when they become available.

The Street Works Qualifications Register (SWQR) will close on Wednesday 23rd December 2009 at 12:00pm. The Register will re-open on Tuesday 5th January 2010 at 09:00am. The Register will also be closed on the following; Friday 11 December 2009 and Wednesday 16th December 2009.
